Among the publishing houses visited were Thomas Learning, McGraw-Hill, Taylor and Francis, John Wiley and Sons, Pearson Education and APD Singapore.

Each publishing company provided materials on specific disciplines. While McGraw-Hill, Pearson Education and Thomson Learning provide books on various subjects, John Wiley and Sons, and Taylor and Francis offered materials inclined on Applied Sciences like Accounting, Business, Computer, and Human Resource Management. Materials on Arts and Sciences were available at the APD collection.

Included in the itinerary were ocular visits to the Singapore National Library, Asian Civilization Museum, and National Institute of Education at Nanyang Technological University. Aside from tours within the City and in Sentosa Island, the group also had a side trip to Kuala Lumpur and Malacca, Malaysia. ¦
