SPUM Hosts the Vietnamese Catholic Community and Joins SMEC Research Congress
St. Paul University Manila hosted the vibrant celebration of TET 2024, the Lunar New Year, as the Vietnamese Catholic Community in the Philippines gathered at the SPUM quadrangle. They came together, more than seven hundred strong, representing diverse walks of life: Priests, Religious Sisters and Brothers, Laity of diverse ages: young, old, middle-aged, children, toddlers.
SPUM Joins SMEC Research Congress
On February 22, 2024, the 6th SMEC Research Congress was opened.
The activity commemorated the 50th Golden Anniversary of the South Manila Educational Consortium (SMEC) and was a celebration of innovation, collaboration, and a shared commitment to education.
SMEC is a group of 12 higher educational institutions in Manila. They collaborate to effect social transformation by promoting education and making quality and relevant learning accessible to as many as possible.
Members of the consortium are: Adamson University, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, De La Salle University, Emilio Aguinaldo College, Lyceum of the Philippines University, Philippine Christian University, Philippine Normal University-Manila, Philippine Women’s University, Santa Isabel College Manila, St. Paul University Manila, St. Scholastica’s College, and University of the Philippines-Manila
