    SPU Manila's University Week Day 3 Activities Unite Paulinian Community
    The Pet Parade for a Cause organized by the Paulinian Environmental Society (PES) marked the third day of University Week at SPU Manila, aiming to collect donations for the PAWSsion Project. Traditional Filipino games and the Paulinian Dance Troupe added to the day's festivities. The day culminated in a Eucharistic Celebration commemorating the Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul, followed by the recognition of service awardees from SPU Manila and the St. Paul Center for Renewal.

    The second day of SPU Manila’s University Week ended with the Out-to-Groove competition. Paulinian students and employees gathered at the campus grounds to witness the street dance competition. The event was organized by the Paulinian Dance Troupe (PDT), led by Ms. Hannah Bisco and Mr. Melvin Macuha, the organization’s president and moderator, respectively. The competition had the theme “Unleashing Your Inner Idol” and featured dance performances of K-pop hits.

    Anticipation built up as the University Week's second day unfolded, featuring engaging discussions and innovations. The day began with the What Ifz, hosted by Ms. Yssa Jimenez and Mr. Grant Hilario. The first speaker was Ms. Jamie Manuel, a part-time faculty member, who talked about the what-ifs of becoming a writer.

    On January 27, 2023, the most awaited Pet Parade made a comeback after years of being on hold due to the pandemic. The College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (CNAHS), together with the Paulinian Environmental Society (PES), organized a program dedicated to the students’ and teachers’ lovely pets and called “Special Pals: Pet Parade and Costume Contest."
