Unlock the Future at SPU Manila!

Initiated by the Public Relations and Marketing Office, SPU Manila held a college fair named OPEN HOUSE: TESPLORA at the Founder’s Hall on 2 December 2023. College programs installed booths in the lobby, showcasing the educational pathways and immersive experiences available at the University.

The main program began with welcome remarks from Ms. Franchesca Faylona, Head of the Public Relations and Marketing Office. She highlighted the event as an opportunity to explore various academic program offerings at SPU Manila and to connect with present students who can assist prospective ones in their decision-making. Representatives from each college presented an overview of their offerings and shared valuable insights to help participants make their choices.

After the program, participants interacted with the students manning the booths, who handed out brochures to the guests and answered questions. AB students from the College of Arts and Sciences showcased their creative artworks on academic and personal themes. The Psychology program’s booth named “Sikolohistas” offered personality tests allowing participants to discover which Taylor Swift album best fits their personality. The Hotel Management and Tourism Management programs sold snacks, such as pasta, desserts, and drinks. The Business Management, Entrepreneurship, and Management Accounting programs sold customized bracelets, perfumes, and accessories. Student leaders from the Education programs organized a question-and-answer game with prizes. The Computer Science and Information Technology booth presented their latest innovations and technological capabilities and conducted fun games. The Nursing program set up informative insights about the course and had a minigame. Lastly, the Music program held a busking session on the hit songs of this generation.

The college fair was a lively and exciting exploration and engagement that left everyone with new insights.
